Born in Wisconsin and raised in Connecticut, Snyder comes from creative background where his father an executive recruiter and his mother is a painter and photography teacher. By the time he attended Heatherley School of Fine Art, Snyder took a big interest and experienced his first taste of film making.
It wasn’t long after attending high school that the 45 year old started out as a director and cinematographer for television commercials for renowned names including Audi, BMW, Nissan, Nike and Reebok. Snyder received numerous awards for his commercial work, which includes two Clio Awards and a Gold Lion Awards for this Jeep commercial.
